The Department of Student Affairs (DSA) aims to help students:
- succeed academically
- become engaged citizens
- reach their full potential.
The DSA offers a range of services, outlined below:
Student development
Responsible for student leadership development, the Student Development Cluster has 4 divisions:
- governance and leadership
- orientation and advocacy
- student life and development
- sport and recreation.
Student funding
The Student Funding and Administration Cluster provides financial assistance to eligible students and provides a treasury service to student governance structures.
Student housing
The Student Housing and Residence Life Cluster provides student accommodation on campus and promotes a positive living-learning experience. Students are also helped to find off-campus accommodation through the Off-Campus Student Accommodation Service (OCSAS).
Student wellness
Primary heath care is provided through the Student Wellness Service Cluster's professional health and counselling service. Students are helped to make healthy lifestyle choices about nutrition, alcohol, safer sex, relationships and stress management.
